LA SCOLCA AT “LA VENDEMMIA”
This year in the occasion of the first edition of the “La Vendemmia” to Via Condotti and Piazza di Spagna on Thursday 19th October, starting from 7.30 pm, La Scolca will be partner of the prestigious Maison Versace: a perfect combination that marries the aesthetic purity of Versace clothes, a brand with clean lines par excellence, with the aesthetics of taste due to the mineral and harmonious purity of the Gavi dei Gavi La Scolca tasting, which will be served during the entire evening. This “aesthetic” twinning is further underlined by the chromaticity linked to the black and gold colors in the details of Versace dresses and accessories taken from the iconic “black label”, brand in the La Scolca brand, as well as the common interpretation of the most significant values of Italian lifestyle : elegance, culture, family, tradition, innovation and deep vision with a modern and international look.
“I think that combining two seemingly distant worlds like design and wine – says Chiara Soldati, producer and owner of La Scolca, who will be present at the event – is the best expression of the concept of aesthetics in its original Greek etymology αἴσθησις, which means “Sensation”, and of the verb αἰσθάνομαι, which means “to perceive through the mediation of meaning”.
Presenting together the nuances of design materials, fashion and the range of sensations that emanate from the Gavi La Scolca represents an ideal sensory journey that leads to appreciate the harmony of an aesthetic that has distant roots. A harmony that arises from the search for materials, from the care for nature, from a nearly centenary tradition that leads to the foresight and audacity of quality choices that only the solidity of the past can guarantee: a search for detail that makes the difference, that something that makes a special dress or an indelible wine in memory. Aesthetics in the world of wine is harmony, balance, something ineffable that characterizes and distinguishes, making an unforgettable wine in an increasingly global world. The La Scolca wine that best embodies this concept is the Gavi dei Gavi, the wine chosen for the Grape Harvest event in Montenapoleone: creativity and rigor are found behind so much magnificence. To achieve harmony and pathos in the final product it takes a lot of discipline: the final catwalks are possible only thanks to an untiring work that chisels every detail to make it unique, whether it is an embroidery or a grape that will then give a precious nectar. “
