An evening celebrating Italian excellence at The Dorchester, London
A prestigious gala dinner took place at The Dorchester, London, organized by the Accademia Italiana della Cucina Delegation of London, celebrating 40 years of the art of Italian gastronomy and cultural diplomacy in London, as part of the official programme of the 10th edition of the Italian Cuisine in the World.
The event featured two icons of Italian cuisine, Chef Giorgio Locatelli and Chef Francesco Mazzei, whose creations reflected the authentic essence and refinement of Italy’s culinary heritage. The evening was held in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Inigo Lambertini and Mrs Maria Grazia Lambertini and one hundred distinguished guests. The host of the evening was Maurizio Fazzari, Vice President of the Accademia and Delegate in London, Institution whose commitment continues to promote Italian culture and values across borders.
Among the guests was Chiara Soldati, Cavaliere del Lavoro, Owner and CEO of La Scolca, and President of the Federvini Committee on Social Aspects and Alcohol, accompanied by her son Ferdinando Caracciolo di Vietri, representing the fifth generation of the family.
In her remarks, Chiara Soldati shared: “Heritage, innovation, and friendship are the true ambassadors of Made in Italy. It is through moments like this that we build bridges between cultures and generations.”
