GIORGETTI PRESENTS THE PROGETTI FASHION COLLECTION WITH AGNONA,
THE THIRD CHAPTER OF THE PROJECT INITIATIVE 30.
In the meeting between design and fashion, Giorgetti and Agnona stage the latest interpretation of the historic Progetti project.
With Progetti Fashion, design meets the charm of fashion and discovers in the textile a new vision of living. In this contamination of worlds, Giorgetti shared with Agnona, famous all over the world for the research of noble fabrics and for the meticulous manual workmanship, the creative experience that led to the birth of Progetti Fashion in three different variations. The expertise of Agnona has allowed Giorgetti to rework the materials of the fashion world to be able to insert them into a story of style and suggestions that gives life to unique environments.
The exclusive quality of the noble fibers and the attention to details typical of the sartorial creation have been redesigned to meet the needs of interior design and to be used in the Giorgetti world; Agnona’s colors introduce new living trends: the blue and the natural tones of taupe and nude explore new style experiences for furnishing.
In a continuous reference between fashion details and interior design, the Katori sheepskin, proposed in the different fur finishes and the finely woven Twist leather dress the Progetti Fashion chairs. In addition, the materiality of Kamet cashmere wool, proposed in two-tone, is embellished with cabochon details with suggestions of precious stones such as lapis lazuli, carnelian and ivory which, running along the profile of the armchair, recall the theme of the trend studs fashion.
Thus, in a dense exchange of knowledge between the ebanistic tradition of excellence and the most refined textile manufacturing, in sharing the values of exclusivity, craftsmanship and attention to detail, Made in Italy is once again a protagonist of creativity and production of high range. The Giorgetti lifestyle is enriched with stimuli to live the dimension of living with modern elegance.
This is the scene of the last chapter of Progetti 30, the initiative strongly desired by Giorgetti to celebrate the Thirty Years of the Progetti collection: a series of collectible objects that respond with style and personality to the desire for uniqueness. Thus were born three unpublished interpretations of the session launched in 1987 by the leading company in the field of contemporary design made in Italy: Pure Projects, Sense Projects and Fashion Projects..
The first, Progetti Pure, signed by Umberto Asnago, was presented at the end of 2016 at Art Basel Miami: the iconic shapes of the original collection have been lightened in volumes to enhance the beech structure and leather becomes pure element at the service of structure. Launched during the Milan Furniture Fair 2017 Progetti Sense favors tactile experience through the use of aniline leather and technical fabrics applied to the iconic shapes of the seat.
