A dry, refreshing white wine with a pale yellow hue, from the Gavi PDO in Piedmont. Produced by La Scolca, a symbol of refined Italian taste, who pioneered the Gavi dei Gavi style. Made from Cortese grapes, it boasts intense flavour, pronounced minerality, and lively acidity. Enjoyable now, but with the potential to age well, it displays aromas of lime, lemon, almond, and walnut, with mineral hints of flint.
With medium body and a GAVI DEI GAVI® long finish, thanks to six months of lees refinement, it pairs perfectly with fish, crab, lobster, white meats, and light pork roasts. Due to its finesse, many wine lovers refer to it as the ‘Chablis of Piemonte.
