Elegance, class, sophistication
The three pillars of the Italian lifestyle of La Scolca
today ready to welcome the fifth generation.
The governance of the company has been firmly in the hands of the Soldati family for over a century.
The family had diversified its investments in 1919 by acquiring the farm. Then this became the main investment, with the desire to proudly remain a family business and be able to grow from this perspective. We are Piedmontese and it is right to give voice to the wine expression of Piedmont and Alessandria. We believe in autochthonous grapes, in long aging. Our will is to continue investing in the territory and in Gavi DOCG, born and developed with the intuition of our family. We have always believed in development, in respect for our land, in all those values that have led to great achievements.
The sacrifices, which are often not evident, are directly proportional to the achievements. We feel responsible for the future because we create the future today, tomorrow is too late. Just as we have a great responsibility towards the market and the final consumer, towards our international ambassadors and our corporate team. Our territory needs to be told for its winemaking but also tourism and cultural heritage. We are proud to produce in a highly suitable area but which still has so much to express. The value of the family, what my cousin Mario Soldati called the artisanal heart, remains, despite meeting industrial success. It takes intelligence and respect. Today we can say that La Scolca has kept its promise and will keep it as a guide for the future.
