La Scolca at the 2026 Rolex Middle Sea Race: Gavi dei Gavi® Black Label at the Royal Malta Yacht Club
In 2026, La Scolca will once again be part of one of the most iconic events on the international sailing calendar: the Rolex Middle Sea Race, organised by the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
The 47th edition will start from Grand Harbour, Malta, on Saturday, 17 October 2026, following a 606-nautical-mile offshore course around Sicily and through some of the Mediterranean’s most spectacular waters, including the Strait of Messina, Stromboli, Favignana, Pantelleria and Lampedusa before returning to the Maltese archipelago.
Throughout the race period, La Scolca Gavi dei Gavi® Black Label will be served at the Royal Malta Yacht Club, accompanying moments of hospitality, conversation and celebration around this prestigious international regatta.
It is a natural setting for a wine that shares many of the values associated with sailing: elegance, precision, balance and attention to detail.
The Rolex Middle Sea Race programme includes registration days, the Yachting Malta Coastal Race on 14 October, the Crew Party on 15 October, the official race briefing on 16 October, the start on 17 October and the final prize-giving ceremony on 24 October.
